Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna is an Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hits like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist, who has sold more than 41 million albums around the world and over 150 million songs. She was born in Barbados and was raised with reggae. As she started to sing, she turned into an accomplished singer. Due to the chaos in her home and the fights her parents were having, she decided to take up music. She soon decided that she wanted to become a performer. The group she formed was a musical one when she was still in high school and got an opportunity to an audition with music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. He asked the girl to move from her home in New York in order to make a career of it as a performer, something she happily accepted. Rihanna dropped her first album and was an overnight star. Rihanna was loved by the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. The result was Rihanna taking up directing. She is a young, accomplished woman, who is now an icon of fashion and popular teenager. Rihanna is a good steward of her popularity and is a supporter of many charitable causes.
