Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. The parents of Kristen Bell were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was able to show a flair to perform on an early age on stage. In 1992, she was awarded her first acting role in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother before the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model on newspapers and television commercials. At this time she began taking classes in acting. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama club. She was the star of Dorothy at her school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang, but the scene where she appeared was cut. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in The Crucible Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
